My experience In my role as Manager of Wellington Rape Crisis I moved the organisation from a significant deficit budget to a sustainable budget through sound financial management, highly successful fundraising campaigns and events, media savvy and building strong funder relationships and processes. I quickly became a highly respected in the Wellington NFP sector and nationally within the sexual violence and stopping violence sectors. My media work and government lobbying has been acknowledged as the impetus for the recently announced overhaul of Sexual Violence service funding. This is a huge success story for the sector which I am proud to have been part of.
In 2015 I was brought on board at Nelson Women’s and Children’s Refuge to support them through a financial crisis. I implemented robust funding and financial processes, developed a surplus budget from a significant deficit, supported the Manager with media strategy and and ran several successful fundraising events.
For this type of work my rate is $45 per hour, with a discount for NFPs/Charities and I can provide up front quotes to avoid any unforeseen costs.
